About Us

The American Museum of Military Vehicles is a nonprofit that started in 1993, which makes us one of the states older nonprofits. We are also considered an educational organization. We try to teach anyone that is interested in Military history about the artifacts and lifestyles of our veterans. We participate in parades, showcasing our vehicles and also assist in fundraisers for organizations that support our troops and veterans. Through these static displays we are able to reach many curious minds and always draw large crowds. Museum members feel the importance of preserving history by allowing people to both see and feel the artifacts from our past. By doing this it helps maintain the public’s interest in the Military’s history.

While not the largest museum, we are definitely a hands on museum and that we feel is part of our success.
